How to Sign Up: In order to try out for the Apprenticeship Program, one must meet minimum qualifications, turn in a completed application, submit all required documentation, and receive a email or letter invite for the Try Out event from the Apprenticeship.
What to Expect at the Try Out Event: Potential applicants will be tested at 5 different skill-based stations. Applicants will need to demonstrate their ability to follow directions, work well with others as a team, physical ability to perform the requirements of the trade, and aptitude for concrete finishing.
Pre Apprenticeship: Following the try out event is a mandatory 2 week Pre-Job course to prepare a first time Cement Mason for the job site before dispatch. It is required to attend before being dispatched as a 60% Cement Mason.
